21:8. ଏହାପର ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ମୁଁ ଅତି ମୂର୍ଖତାର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଅଛି। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କରି ମୁଁ ଏକ ଜଘନ୍ଯ ପାପ କରିଅଛି। ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ମାରେ ସହେି ପାପକୁ କ୍ଷମା କର।"

21:8. David said to God, "I have sinned greatly by doing this! Now, please remove the guilt of your servant, for I have acted very foolishly."

21:8. Then David said to God, "I have sinned greatly by taking this census. Please forgive my guilt for doing this foolish thing."

21:8. And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, in that I have done this thing: but now, put away, I beseech thee, the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

21:8. And David said to God, "I have sinned greatly in that I have done this thing. But now, please take away the iniquity of your servant, for I have acted very foolishly."

21:8. And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

21:8. And David said to God, "I have sinned greatly in that I have done this thing. But now, I pray thee, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly."

21:8. and David saith unto God, `I have sinned exceedingly, in that I have done this thing; and now, cause to pass away, I pray Thee, the iniquity of Thy servant, for I have acted very foolishly.`

21:8. Then David said to God, "I have done something very foolish. I have done a very bad sin by counting the Israelites. Now, I beg you to take the sin away from me, your servant."
